Snow Covered Trees

Yesterday, along with my yoga adventures, I finally sat down to paint again since December. I never truly understand why I let painting be the first thing I put on the back burners when life gets busy.

Normally painting at home can be a hassle. I don't have a studio and the spare room isn't necessarily set up for what I need to do but I make it work. I found an easel that had been given to me many Christmas's ago which made life much easier this time.

I had started the painting in December and had only blocked out the main parts, a tree, some snow, and the sky. Yesterday I managed to sit down for three hours and finish it!

Below shows the progress of the painting. Unfortunately, sometimes I get too caught up in what I'm doing and forget to take important progress pictures.

The final product!
